Besides
all the restaurants of beach that we proposed you, we present you
establishments enjoying a beautiful sight.
First, one of our best choices: LA BASTIDE, on the
seafront of la Capte, near the small harbour. This is our best choice for lunch
and dinner as well with a very good ratio quality / price. The
young team of the beach restaurant took over the hotel restaurant La
Bastide, not quite on the beach, there is a way to end cross. As
in the past Ponta Pora, the welcome is warm and professional.
The menu is varied, and the prices are still reasonable. The
desserts are homemade or from ice creams of very good quality. Since
the takeover, without any special advertsement, local people are
numerous to come. All
our visits are confirming that this is a place to recommend. The
decoration (which was needed) was redone. The kitchen is impeccable and
leaves much of the ordinary restaurants around the corner, a notch
above the TOCCO and Robinson, we are talking about below, with prices
that are quite comparable. The service is always friendly. The
cocktails are worth alone the visit ! The
restaurant is coupled to a small hotel of 11 rooms recently renovated. It

Le
Pothuau, on the port
Pothuau, in Salins d'Hyères
A little bit old atmosphere for this restaurant situated
feet in the water of the small portPothuau, the kind family
meetings. The cooking is traditional and serious, with good quality
meats. From November till May, you will benefit from the company of
one wihite egret, who comes here every year.
La Salad'Hyères,
on the port Pothuau, where service is not always smiling, nevertheless
salads at a correct price.

dans le Domaine de la Mer, au bout de la plage de la Badine:
Very
beautiful terrace
overhanging the beach, which you can admire through pines. Nice
decoration and furniture.
In your plate, the situation is not as good. The prices are
rather high for a cooking without genius.
As often in the region, the desserts are expensive, what leads
easily to 30-? additions a person.
In
2008, the restaurant offers buffets, which makes service easier. These
buffets are of very standard quality, and of rather high price !!
Forget about the meal and
enjoy the sight .

Le STELLA MARIS, à
500 m de l'Almanarre direction Carqueiranne Some tables with an
astonishing view on Almanarre beach and the West of the
Giens
peninsula . Unfortunately, if these tables are occupied, you
look
on people who have an astonishing sight, what turns out very
frustrating. Thus: compulsory booking.
Rather
traditional, but good quality cooking(kitchen). Service often a little
bit long.

L'Oursinado,
près du port des Oursinières, au
Pradet. The
magnificent terrace under olive trees overhanging the sea is the main
asset of this house, where a cooking without surprise is served to
prices which we find somehow excessive and without a lot of diligence.
It is well better to go to the Chanterelle, to 500 m from there, except
when you want to amaze your mother in law one Sunday noon.
Let us
not forget in this category all the restaurants of Port
Cros, which have beautiful terraces and beautiful rooms on
the charming small port of the island. Better forget
